Paws & Claws Festival set for Saturday in Maricopa
Maricopa, Ariz. — The Third Annual Paws & Claws Festival, voted Best Event in Crème de la Copa 2024, is scheduled for Saturday at Pacana Park. The free community event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and features adorable pets ready for adoption, a Kid Zone, local food trucks, live music, Maricopa Police and Fire Department community booths, and a pet-friendly atmosphere with vendor booths.
Vendors include The Gud Ark and the Pinal County Sheriff, with additional vendors expected.
The Maricopa Chamber of Commerce, part of the Greater Maricopa Business Alliance, is attending the event. The festival is set for Saturday, April 4, at Pacana Park.

Missing 15-year-old Jeremiah Camacho sought in Maricopa
Maricopa Police Department is seeking the public’s help locating 15-year-old Jeremiah Camacho, who was last seen March 7 at his home in The Villages after leaving on his own, with authorities now believing he has been staying in Casa Grande but could return to the Maricopa area at any time; he is about 5'5" tall and 135 pounds, with an afro hairstyle, and was wearing a dark jacket and dark pants, and anyone with information should call MPD’s non-emergency line at (520) 568-3673.
