**Officer-Involved Shooting in Maricopa**

Maricopa, AZ – The Maricopa Police Department is responding to an officer-involved shooting near Bowlin Road and John Wayne Parkway. Authorities have confirmed that there is no outstanding threat to the community at this time.

The Pinal Regional Special Investigations Unit (PRSIU) has been called to the scene as part of protocol for such incidents. Local officials have designated the Copper Sky Multigenerational Center as a media staging area.

At this moment, no press briefings have been scheduled. All future media inquiries about the incident are being handled by the Pinal County Sheriff's Office, as they are taking the lead in the investigation.

Updates on the situation are expected as authorities continue their assessment.
