Arizona small businesses boosted by college partnerships, grants

Across the state, small businesses not only provide essential goods and services but also strengthen local communities and drive economic growth, according to a Maricopa Community Colleges report.

Mike Spangenberg, co-founder of Arizona's iconic State Forty Eight, knows firsthand what it's like to bring an entrepreneurial vision to life.

His time at Scottsdale Community College helped him determine the path he wanted to take, enabling him to start his own business.

Today, the State Forty Eight Foundation is helping small businesses thrive through collaboration and grants.
